A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Fantastic little family restaurant with a captivating atmosphere, amazing kitchen. Hard to get a table, but worth the effort."
"Excellent meal, restaurant looking very simple but the food is exceptionally good and the service is warm and efficient. We ordered the zucchini flower gratin, roast duck with potatoes and side salad. All were expertly prepared. We'd def dine here again when we next visit Torino."
"It’s our 4th visit to Turin. We tried each and every time to reserve a table at L’acino but it was always full. Today we were lucky to get a table (probably because of the summer extra tables outside). We started with stuffed zucchini flowers with fresh ricotta and parmigiana. It was a perfect dish melting in our mouths. We continued with gnocchi with cheese sauce which was like soft clouds. We had a desert of baked apricot with chocolate - simple but perfect. The owners were so kind and friendly and the Barolo 2015 made the whole evening just perfect."
"Couldn't recommend it highly enough! We were lucky enough to get the last table without reservation and since the moment we were seated it was just an amazing evening with great food, great service and great atmosphere. The owner himself was serving us and he couldn't have been nicer. Not just paying attention to us to see if everything is ok but also explaining to us about the cheeses on the cheese plate and in which order to eat them to get the best experience. We had ravioli, pork shank, pork stew and plate of cheese for starters with some local wine and everything tasted amazing. It's not cheap, but the quality is worth it - I don't feel like we overpaid. We've visited several restaurants in Turin during our time there but L'Acino definitely is the best one that we dined in."
"The perfect place for dinner — cozy, beautiful, and genuinely authentic. The dishes are exceptionally delicious and offer something for every taste. The vermouth is simply enchanting. The host’s warm and attentive communication makes you feel truly welcomed and respected. 1000 out of 10!"
"The best place we had dinner when we visited Torino. The owner of this place is very friendly. High quality food and traditional cozy atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone!"
"We had the most fantastic human and culinary experience in this typical yet modern Piemontese restaurant ! The food was absolutely delicious and original and the service was amazingly nice and professional. What a fantastic team Nadia, Patrizia and Angelo make !!!"
"The food speaks for itself, prepared with much love by chef Carlotta. Angelo makes you feel at home right away, some people have the gift of being social and friendly and he has it. Highly recommended. These Belgians had a great evening"
